It's my featured piece on my gallery and I felt it was high time I gave this a go! 3 years of difference. It really leaps out at me how much shading makes a difference despite how much I was determined to be lazy about it back then, not to mention the pose that makes it look like a zombie....welp that's the first drawing meme I've done in a good couple years!

It is amazing what a difference shading and dynamic poses can make. Your new version certainly looks grander and battle ready whereas the first looks sorta like he just wants to be left alone.
